Spanish Archbishop Rejects Opposition to Mosque: Archbishop José Ángel Saiz Meneses of Seville addressed the proposed mosque in the city at a press conference on Friday. He cited Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 16 of the Spanish Constitution, and Vatican II's Dignitatis Humanae, emphasizing that religious freedom is both a universal and constitutional right. He added that these rights must be exercised in accordance with state, regional, local, and municipal law. His remarks come as Seville City Council has postponed a decision on the mosque's building permit while seeking additional technical and legal reports following objections from the political party Vox.
On 28 June, the closing day of Munich "Pride" weekend, the Cathedral of Munich, Germany, hosted its first Christopher Street Day (CSD) Youth Liturgy. The liturgy included scripture readings, prayers, music and personal blessings. The event was organised jointly by the Cathedral Parish, the Catholic youth organisation BDKJ, and the Queer Pastoral Ministry of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising. The organisers of the 'Catholic' cathedral service also participated in the Munich homosex march. BDKJ members marched carrying a large rainbow banner bearing the words 'Love is no sin'. They also carried a large orange banner depicting Jesus Christ with the slogan 'Jesus would dance with us at CSD!'. Both banners displayed the BDKJ logo to identify them as part of the organisation's official participation in the homosex march. Picture: AI, #newsXyryhufnmj
Lombardy's Bishops on Their Phones: All ten bishops of Lombardy gathered from July 5–10 at the Hermitage of Montecastello in Tignale del Garda for their annual Spiritual Exercises, led by Bishop Massimiliano Palinuro, Apostolic Administrator of Istanbul. They met "for prayer, reflection, and fraternity." The photo showing the bishops all looking down at their phones could be reading the Breviary.

Homosexual Couple Sues Surrogate for Refusing to Abort Their Son: A Canadian homosexual male couple is suing the surrogate mother who carried "their" son after she refused their 2024 request to abort him at 22 weeks because of a cleft lip. Filed in Ontario Superior Court in May 2026, the lawsuit seeks about $600,000, alleging the surrogate withheld medical information, breached confidentiality, and caused emotional distress. She denies the allegations, saying the dispute began after she refused the abortion request and adding, "I just feel used... They didn't get the perfect child they wanted, and they threw me away."

Barnabás Márk THE MAN WHO WORKED WITH ADMIRAL BYRD REVEALS WHAT’S REALLY HIDDEN INSIDE THE EARTH John B. Leith claims to have been a radio operator under the command of Admiral Richard Byrd. According to his testimony, Byrd revealed a major classified discovery to him: A pilot would have entered inside the Earth for 1,200 miles (about 1,900 km). No molten core, as we’re taught, but continents and seas inside, comparable to those on the surface. He would have taken 300 photographs of these hidden lands. In 1940, thanks to recovered documents, he would have set off again with a round-wing plane (“round wing plane”), crossed through the Earth, and emerged through a 125-mile opening at the South Pole. Leith specifies that if he says too much, his life is in danger. He claims to have already survived three assassination attempts, to have been poisoned, and that people have been sent to kill him. This testimony aligns with numerous accounts surrounding Admiral Byrd and his secret expeditions …Ossotina
The Roman Rite Revived a Church Planned for Demolition: The church St. Francis de Sales in St. Louis, Missouri, was facing demolition after its parish closed in 2005. Instead, then-Archbishop Raymond Leo Burke of St. Louis entrusted it to the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest. The Roman rite has been celebrated ever since. Today, the church regularly attracts more than 700 worshippers each Sunday, many of whom are young adults and families.

Many bishops in the USA (and elsewhere) forbid Catholics from attending Mass in chapels belonging to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X, yet they welcome schismatics and homosexuals. Three examples: Arlington Bishop: FSSPX Sacraments Are "Invalid" Bishop Michael Burbidge of Arlington, Virginia, instructed Catholics to “avoid participating in the activities of the FSSPX.” In a letter dated 8 July, he wrote that "any celebrations of the sacraments of confession and matrimony by the FSSPX are invalid, and the administration of other sacraments is illicit". In September 2025, Bishop Burbidge said that his meeting with the Greek Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew was “incredible,” and marked a “historic moment of Christian unity”. Covington Bishop: FSSPX Mass Is "Abuse of Eucharist" Bishop John Iffert of Covington, Kentucky, said in a recent statement that the sacraments from the FSSPX are “illicit”: “The Masses these priests celebrate are an abuse of the Eucharist, insofar as they make the …Ossotina
Doesn't Rome recognize the confessions and marriages of the schismatic Orthodox as valid? So if the SSPX is in schism, it should be given the same favor.
[Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich; XVIII-XIX Century; born: 8 September 1774 Flamschen, Coesfeld, Prince-Bishopric of Münster, Holy Roman Empire/ died: 9 February 1824 (aged 49), Dülmen, Kingdom of Prussia, German Confederation; mystic, Marian visionary and stigmatist; Roman Catholic Augustinian canoness] Again he prayed and taught; his words came forth from his lips like fire and light, and entered into each of the Apostles, with the exception of Judas. He took the paten with the pieces of bread (I do not know whether he had placed it on the chalice) and said: ‘Take and eat; this is my Body which is given for you.’ He stretched forth his right hand as if to bless, and, whilst he did so, a brilliant light came from him, his words were luminous, the bread entered the mouths of the Apostles as a brilliant substance, and light seemed to penetrate and surround them all, Judas alone remaining dark. Jesus presented the bread first to Peter, next to John and then he made a sign to Judas to …Ossotina

The Roman Rite Returns to Another Monastery: Today, twelve Benedictine monks from Le Barroux officially established a new monastic community at Notre-Dame de Bellefontaine Abbey in western France. Founded in the early 12th century, the abbey was home to Trappist monks from 1816 until their departure in 2025. Fr. Raphaël, the new prior, paid tribute to the departing community: "The monastery is in very good condition. The brothers cared for it until the very end, always hoping they could remain." And: "Our liturgy will be celebrated in Latin and Gregorian chant. There will be those who like it and those who do not. Each person must discern for himself."

Riaan Van Zyl July 10, 2026 'It is not the same Catholic Faith that the world had always known,' he said in a recent declaration. Just weeks before his scheduled consecration on July 25, Fr. Michael Mary, F.SS.R., has published what amounts to his final public explanation for accepting the episcopacy from Bishop Pierre Roy, presenting the ceremony not as a personal honor but as a necessary response to what he describes as an unprecedented crisis in the Church. In a declaration released on July 8, the co-founder of the Congregation of the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer, who is now 73, reflected upon a lifetime spent in the Catholic faith and on the convictions that have brought him to this moment. “Our Holy Mother the Catholic Church has been and, by God’s grace, will ever be the great love of my life,” he writes, before lamenting what he sees as the devastation that followed the Second Vatican Council. “The devastation, the destruction, is tangible … And this has come to pass because …Ossotina
Leo XIV Wants Church with Open Doors and for "Everyone": Today, Pope Leo XIV held a lunch for 200 people in need from the Diocese of Rome in the Gardens of Castel Gandolfo. He said: "I've not prepared a speech, because, I am hungry - hungry for justice, for authentic charity, for a Church that knows how to open its doors, welcome people, and care for everyone." The guests enjoyed a meal featuring pasta all'amatriciana, roast veal, other Italian specialities and strawberries with whipped cream for dessert.
Speaking off-the-cuff at lunch with 200 poor people from the Diocese of Rome, and welcoming them to the Pontifical gardens of Castel Gandolfo, Pope Leo XIV says: “I didn’t prepare a speech because I am hungry. I’m hungry for justice, I’m hungry for authentic charity, I’m hungry for a Church that knows how to opens its doors, welcomes and looks after everyone.”
Bishop Joseph Williams of Camden, New Jersey, has suppressed the Mass in the Roman rite at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish in Northfield. The final Roman Mass was celebrated on June 28. The excuse used to end the Mass was the retirement of Father Anthony J. Manuppella. The priest who has taken over as an administrator knows how to say the Roman rite, but lacks permission to celebrate. Instead, he offers a Sunday noon Novus Ordo in Latin, celebrated ad orientem. According to parishioners and blog posts, Bishop Williams did not renew the permission required for the Mass to continue. Below is an English user comment from a parishioner published on Wdtprs.com: "The Bishop has rejected all pleas for mercy and charity from our retiring pastor, our dedicated altar servers, and congregation to allow our Traditional Latin Mass to continue". Pope Leo XIV continues Francis’ path towards homosexuals, Fr. Bryan Massingale SJ, a self-described homosexual and theology professor at Jesuit-run Fordham University in New York City, told Ny1.com on June 25: “There was a fear after Francis died that a future pope would come in and would undo the welcoming overtures and advances that had taken place under Francis' papacy.” However: “One of the first things Pope Leo did was he said, ‘No, I have no intention of going backwards when it comes to the LGBTQ community,” the Jesuit added.
Fr. Bryan Massingale SJ, openly homosexual and theology professor at Fordham University, said he is encouraged that Pope Leo XIV appears committed to continuing the more welcoming approach toward LGBTQ people that he associates with Pope Francis.
Electroverse @Electroversenet Svalbard, a remote Arctic archipelago, holds inconvenient secrets about our climate history. A new study reveals it was up to 9C warmer around 10,000 years ago when CO2 was just 260 parts per million. Despite this warmth, glaciers didn't vanish. They survived, supported by increased snowfall. Svalbard then cooled for the next 8,000 years while CO2 kept rising. No tipping points, no runaway melt. Yet today's climate models project the same 8 to 9C of warming by the year 2100 (using the discredited RCP8.5 scenario), and predict widespread glacier loss. That directly contradicts the historical record. Even the study's authors admit the future may follow the past. Warmer, wetter conditions could bring more snowfall, stabilizing or even growing glaciers. The fatal flaw in climate modeling has raised its ugly head once again. It can't replicate history. And when the past contradicts your theory, it's the theory that's broken, not the past.
