Gospel of September 27 – 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Dear brothers and sisters, the Gospel of Sunday, September 27, reminds us that even though we live in an era of "post-truth," of the primacy of the Emotional Quotient (EQ) over the Intelligence one (IQ) and the virtual world over the real one, it is ultimately our adherence to, or rejection of God’s will that will determine our future, both here on earth and in the hereafter. That’s because God exists, even if the world—with all its ideologies, science, and technology—ignores Him. Indeed, God, our Creator, knows better than we do what lies within our hearts and what truly brings them happiness, both in time and in eternity.
