Cardinals Received a Document Opposing the Roman Rite at the Consistory - Report

Although the subject of the Mass in the Roman rite was not raised openly during the consistory on January 7-8, it was nevertheless referenced in writing.
“While the liturgy was put aside,” an anonymous cardinal told TheCatholicHerald.com, “we were given a paper at the end written by Cardinal Arthur Roche, which was pretty negative concerning the Tridentine Latin Mass.”
Cardinal Roche, Prefect of the Dicastery for Liturgy, has been one of the key figures in implementing Pope Francis's 2021 apostolic letter Traditionis custodes, which restricts the celebration of the Mass.

Shame on you trumphaters

Question: "Do you know ANY EXILED Venezuelan who isn’t thankful to president Trump?"
Take your time....
You don’t? Let me give you a hint... 0 , I was married to one, her entire family is living either in Florida or Chile, they don’t have sweet words for the regime and they don’t care about Trump's methods or his desire to get Venezuelan oil.
The horror some of my friends endured, one of my friends had to sell her apartment and the family business (2 bakeries), 2 out 6 employees of my sister's business had to do odd related jobs to try and get established despite having an university degree and spent a small fortune to study them (business admin and agricultural engineering).
A friend of mine, sold her apartment for US 10k, despite costing her 110k, decided to immigrate when goons appeared in her bakeries and threatened with high caliber weapons, placed in her brother's neck, to kill him if she didn't surrender their 2 suv's, after that close encounter, they fled the regime.

Bishop Varden Burdened by Therapeutic Culture

The - for him - perennial question of why we suffer does not admit easy answers, Bishop Erik Varden of Trondheim, Norway, said in a psychologically dense talk in Madrid, Spain, on January 9, 2026, in the Aula Magna of Universidad CEU San Pablo according to OmnesMag.com.
Bishop Varden’s episcopal consecration in 2020 was postponed because he was granted a period of leave to recover his strength from exhaustion.
Religion or Life Coaching?
Bishop Varden believes that pain “belongs to the human condition and cannot be dissolved by rational arguments.”
Christian Faith does not seek to justify suffering or pretend it does not exist. Instead, it places suffering before God with reverence, acknowledging its gravity without turning it into an absolute.
Monsignor Varden's central idea is that humanity is wounded, yet not defined by its wounds. “The human condition,” he said, “is a painful condition, but not a definitive one.”

The Council Fathers on Vatican II

There is plenty of evidence to show that Bishops and Cardinals who attended Vatican Council II were concerned from the start about its timing, its content and the serious omissions found in its documents.
While there is no doubt that it was a pivotal moment in the history of the Church, Vatican II represents for some a devastating rupture with Catholicism as it was always taught, while it remains for others the surprising revelation of a Catholicism which had hitherto not been discovered.
As a liberal, Pope Leo XIV falls into the latter camp and has
announced that he will begin a new catechesis series on Vatican II. He believes we must “continue to seek ways and means to implement its insights” and that “it will be important to get to know it again closely.”
In more conservative circles, many have woken up to the fact that implementation was never the problem. Like Communism, which its loyal adherents say has “not yet been implemented properly”, Vatican II contains integral errors …

Satanic Temple loses appeal in religious freedom lawsuit over abortion

A federal appeals court has ruled against the Satanic Temple's religious-based challenge of Indiana's near-total abortion ban.
On Jan. 6, 2026,
the U.S. District Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit sided with a 2023 lower court opinion that the group lacked standing to sue because it did not present evidence that at least one Hoosier adherent was actually harmed.
"This lawsuit was ridiculous from the start, but this unanimous court decision is a critical victory because it continues to uphold our pro-life law that is constitutionally and legally rock-solid," Attorney General Todd Rokita said in a press release.
Under Indiana law, abortion is allowed only in very narrow circumstances: cases of fatal fetal anomalies, threats to the mother's life, and pregnancies before 10 weeks' gestation caused by rape or incest. Lawyers for the Satanic Temple argued that these restrictions conflict with the religious practices of its Hoosier adherents.
The group holds as one of its central tenets …

'State of disaster' declared as Australia battles bushfires during extreme heatwave

Part of Australia's Victoria state has been declared a disaster zone after dozens of fires tore through 300,000 hectares, destroying homes, during an extreme heatwave.
The state's premier, Jacinta Allan, said that around 30,000 homes and businesses are also currently without power.
In an update on X, she said there were currently 10 major fire fronts and further 20 fires being closely monitored. "Conditions remain dangerous and unpredictable," Ms Allan added.
Among those, there were 16 emergency warnings - the highest category - for major fires at Walwa, Longwood, Wonnangatta and Ravenswood.
In the town of Malmsbury, 55 miles (88km) northwest of Melbourne, local fire crews posted footage of teams tackling a blaze.

Servant Of Divine Mercy

The fires will go for weeks and we are now in peak bushfire season so keep all of the communities of people and their homes in your prayers. Always be Prepared both Spiritually and Physically!

Servant Of Divine Mercy

We returned to our home as it was all clear and it was untouched by bushfire but we received another alert saying wind changed direction and to leave immediately as it was heading literally towards our area and I surrendered in Faith the home to God and put Blessed Holy Water on the house and we had to leave again and found out later the wind changed direction going away from our place back towards the main fire front towns. The Power of Prayer especially the Holy Rosary can DO miraculous things!

Leo XIV Will Not Bury Francis – Tucho on Continuity between Popes

Leo XIV will certainly introduce changes with respect to the previous pontificate, but the challenge posed by Evangelii Gaudium "cannot" be buried — Cardinal Víctor “Tucho” Fernández told the consistory on January 7–8. His intervention was published by his friends of ReligionDigital.org.
“In fact, Evangelii Gaudium specifies that it is not an obsessive proclamation of all the doctrines and norms of the Church, although necessary and valuable, but above all the proclamation of the core of the Gospel, the kerygma.”
Tucho believes that "creativity is needed" to ensure that the proclamation reaches everyone.
Protestant-sounding language
He argues for an alleged “need to remain open to reforming our practices, styles, and organizations.”
Even if denied, he uses the phrase “not out of an obsession with change” and wants “inculturating anew”.
He then invokes the anti-Catholic slogan “Ecclesia semper reformanda”, drawn from Reformed theological literature.
Tucho also argues against …More

We’re considering very strong options on Iran – Allah's Willing Executioners

Donald Trump White House Photo by Daniel Torok
US President Donald Trump said on Sunday night that the US is watching Iran closely and weighing possible responses as unrest in the country grows.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump stated that Iran is starting to cross his red line.
“There seems to be some people killed that aren’t supposed to be killed. We are looking at it very seriously, the military is looking at it and we’re looking at some very strong options,” he added, noting that he is receiving reports on the Iranian protests every hour.
He also warned Iran against attacking American bases in the region, stating that if they do, “we will hit them harder than they imagined.”
Trump’s comments came hours after the White House
posted a cryptic message on social media amid the tensions with Iran and speculations that the US might launch strikes against the Islamic Republic.
“We have three things to say…GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS. GOD BLESS AMERICA. AND …

'So that you will better appreciate the meaning of Our Lord's words, and perceive more clearly how few the Elect are, note that Christ did not say that those who walked in the path to Heaven are few in number, but that there were few who found that narrow way. It is as though the Saviour intended to say: The path leading to Heaven is so narrow and so rough, so overgrown, so dark and difficult to discern, that there are many who never find it their whole life long. And those who do find it are constantly exposed to the danger of deviating from it, of mistaking their way, and unwittingly wandering …More

Is baptism necessary for salvation ?

mastercatechism.com
Yes, baptism is necessary for salvation. The Church teaches that without baptism, one cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven, as stated by Christ: "Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God" (John 3:5).
However, there are exceptions recognized by the Church. Those who die without baptism but have not committed sin through no fault of their own will not go to hell, but they will not see God or heaven. Instead, they will be in a state of natural peace, deprived of the beatific vision (V16 Kinkead Explanation of the Baltimore Catechism 1891 226:1).
Additionally, the Church acknowledges two other forms of baptism that can substitute for the sacrament of water baptism under certain circumstances: the baptism of blood (martyrdom) and the baptism of desire (a sincere desire for baptism combined with perfect contrition for sins) (V17 Cafferata The Catechism Simply Explained 1932 244:2; V8 Frassinetti A Dogmatic Catechism …More

2 Timothy 4:22 -- The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen. -- Will unbaptized infants go to heaven?
mastercatechism.com -- Provided the following:
The Church teaches that unbaptized infants do not enter heaven, as they lack the beatific vision of God due to original sin. However, they do not suffer the same penalties as those who have committed personal sin. Instead, it is believed that they may experience a state of natural happiness, without the pain of sense, as they are not aware of their deprivation of the beatific vision (V0 Schneider Credo 2023 273:5; V18 Gasparri The Catholic Catechism 1932 211:2).
The destiny of these infants remains a mystery entrusted to God's loving providence, and while we can hope for God's mercy, their ultimate fate is not definitively known (V0 Schneider Credo 2023 274:1; V8 Frassinetti A Dogmatic Catechism 1872 65:4).

The subservience of governments to the interests of the globalist elite is even more evident in the planning of ethnic replacement, pursued to erase the religious, cultural, linguistic, and economic identity of states and to better control the masses. From Starmer to Macron, from Rutte to Sanchez, from von der Leyen to Meloni, total surveillance is already being implemented and will become irreversible with the introduction of digital currency and the obligation of a unique ID for access to essential services.
