Peter and Paul in Pécs, Hungary, to mark World Gratitude Day on September 21. The installation, which will remain until September 30, invites visitors to pause, reflect on what they are grateful for, write down a word, name, memory or personal message, and attach it to the tree.

Indeed, God, our Creator, knows better than we do what lies within our hearts and what truly brings them happiness, both in time and in eternity.

Hosts from tabernacle scattered across a town square. On September 19, unknown perpetrators entered the Sacred Heart of Mary parish church in Guitiriz, Lugo, Spain, forced open the tabernacle and stole the silver ciborium containing hosts. They were later found scattered outside in the town square. The Diocese of Mondoñedo-Ferrol described the incident as a grave profanation of the Eucharist. The parish filed a complaint and the Guardia Civil opened an investigation. Investigators are reportedly reviewing security cameras from nearby businesses. Bishop Fernando García Cadiñanos will celebrate a Eucharist of reparation at the church on 29 September.
