I read as far as I could, before my email address was required. Maybe the part of the article I didn't access says something about Vitamin D damaging the kidneys. But, many of us found out the hard way that taking mega-doses of Vitamin D to enhance immunity to all of the coronavirus variants that were going around a few years ago, wasn't such a great idea. In my case, a timely blood test alerted me to the problem. I immediately stopped taking Vitamin D and my kidney function returned to normal. (Whew that was close!)

As I'm currently living in China, I can tell you that's just a few kids that their parents send to these summer camps and that students even in their first month of university where they have a mandatory training don't use real guns nor have any special training. They need to register themselves to the army if they want to become soldier, nothing such as South Korea where it's compulsory to make at least 2 years. Also parents in China don't want to lose their unique child to a war and are very peaceful. And last but not least, China has the same problem than France had with Algeria.
