Happiness is not a life without problems. It is the peace you find in the middle of them.
A famous Turkish poet once asked his painter friend to create a picture of **“happiness.”**
The painter painted a poor family sleeping peacefully together on an old, creaking bed. One leg of the bed was broken and supported by two
bricks. Their small, worn-out house had a leaking roof. Even their dog was curled up beside them, sleeping peacefully.
Yet, there was something beautiful in that scene—they were together, safe, and at peace.
The painting became unforgettable because it captured a truth we often forget:
**Happiness is not having everything perfect. Happiness is appreciating what you have, accepting what you cannot change, and finding peace despite life's difficulties.**
Not every problem needs to be solved today.
Not every situation is within your control.
And not every difficult chapter will last forever.

Spanish Conference Convenes Priests To Address Their Ministry In “A More Synodal Church”
The Spanish Episcopal Conference will bring the application of synodality to the concrete exercise of priestly ministry in a national gathering convened for next November 30 in Madrid. Under the title “Presbyters: Servants of Communion,” archpriests, episcopal vicars, and clergy delegates will reflect on the role of the priest within “a more synodal Church” and on the so-called “differentiated co-responsibility” among the various vocations.
