Pope Francis makes confusing condemnation of abortion.

“How many innocents are being slaughtered in our world! In their mothers’ wombs, in odysseys undertaken in desperation and in search of hope, in the lives of all those little ones whose childhood has been devastated by war. They are the little Jesuses of today,” the Pope said

His first sentence is a very accurate description of abortion as “slaughter”.

Then he says that abortive mothers are on “an odysseys undertaken in desperation in search of hope”, which is a completely opposite from the truth about almost all abortions.

Then he introduces the topic of war, not abortion… “in the lives of all those little ones whose childhood has been devastated by war.”

There are many reasons given for abortion but the most fundamental reason is found in the Bible…”You desire but do not have, so you kill.”
She wants more freedom, more money, more worldly goods etc. and she is willing to kill her baby to get it.
