Protestants.... For Ash Wednesday, one progressive church is offering "glitter ashes," which is ash mixed with purple glitter, and which "straight Christians" can don as a sign of "remorse...to our LGBTQ siblings."
I never thought of ashes as a way to "shine," nor that they had anything to do with politics, but I guess that is free-range theology for you.
