Schneider: The Liturgy is Above the Powers of a Pope

We don’t have to obey a pope when he issues orders which are undermining the Faith and the Liturgy, Bishop Schneider reiterated before Mother Miriam, prioress of the Daughters of Mary, Mother of Israel's Hope (Video below).

Schneider explains that Francis' "permission" to adulterers to take Communion is "undermining the truth of the indissolubility of marriage" and therefore "we cannot obey” and "we have to appeal to Francis to change this.”

Another example where “we cannot obey” is the Roman Liturgy because Francis "has no authority to abolish it or restrict it" because the Liturgy "is the property of the whole Church of all the times and not of a single pope.“

Tell that to Paul VI -- he didn't really have the power after all to outlaw the old Mass. So, every priest who disobeyed him and his own bishop was in the right. And a pope assumes powers he doesn't have, causes a great disruption in the Faith of millions, and still is canonized. Please explain the modern Church to me.

Paul VI did not forbid the Old Missal in his promulgation of the New Missal. Therefore the perpetual permission to use the Old Roman Missal canonised in Pope Pius V’s Quo Primum is still in force.
Also because of the CIC of 1983:
Can. 21 In a case of doubt, the revocation of a pre-existing law is not presumed, but later laws must be related to the earlier ones and, insofar as possible, must be harmonized with them.
Finally, Pope Benedict XVI declared that the Ancient Roman Missal had never been abrogated.

Do the Daughters of Mary,Mother of Israel's Hope have any members except Mother Miriam? I never hear of any.

The pope without authority to restrict (or even abolish) the traditional liturgy: a statement in canon law and a statement on church history in the development of theology.
