I don't understand how +Cordileone gets a pass from so many Catholics committed to the Faith of the Ages. He not only has done nothing to address the scandalous ecclesial life at the gay-oriented parish of Holy Redeemer in San Francisco, but from the Archdiocese' own web page (from 2013), +Cordileone is quoted thusly: "“They’ve been disowned by their families,” he said. “They’ve been harmed and they want to come to a place that will accept them for who they are. And affirm them. So it tenderizes us.”
Let me be clear: my objection is not that he interacts with this homosexual community; I would expect a good pastor of souls to do exactly this. But it's what he doesn't say. Charity without truth is a contradiction. There' s not only NOT a mention of their duty to embrace the message of the Creator's Divine Revelation to us, but he continues to this day to permit openly homosexual "couples" and advocates who are openly practicing this perversion, to receive Holy Communion. In other words: he permits sacrilege.
This is the post-conciliar institution that tries to pass itself as the Roman Catholic Church. Ss. Augustine, Gregory the Great, Peter Damian (especially). Catherine of Siena, Bernardine of Siena, and Peter Canisius wouldn't recognize it. They never cleaved truth from charity on this moral issue.
