Bishop Eleganti: "Papal Teaching Has Become Incoherent"
"The biggest problem is that we have never had a situation like this before, where the Dicastery or the Magisterium of the Church has become inconsistent and incoherent. That’s the great problem. We have to correct that."
The Bishop added: "As we have seen with Fiducia Supplicans, there has been resistance to the document, and good theological arguments have been put forward against it. The document is not well founded. So, resistance is arising, and you can observe that, in a second note, Cardinal Fernández downplays it a little."
Regarding Islam, Bishop Eleganti said that he is not "so naive as to think that water and fire can coexist". He opined that Muslims "want the dominance of Islam in the whole world". He added: "From the very beginning, Islam is intolerant and anti-Christian."
