Humility Unlocks God's Greatest Spiritual Gifts
The gospel reading highlights the importance of humility and acknowledging God’s role in our achievements. St. Paul emphasizes that all gifts, including wisdom and faith, are from the Holy Spirit and should be used for God’s glory, not our own. We must be cautious not to hinder the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives through fear or misunderstanding.
The devil deceives by imitating God and appealing to our desires, leading us away from God’s will. To avoid this, we must pray for humility and openness to God’s plan, allowing the Holy Spirit to work in our lives. By cooperating with the Holy Spirit, we can receive the gifts God wants to give us and become the saints He desires.
