The prophet Isaiah was sent to King Ahaz to ask for a sign from God. God’s sign was a virgin birth, a sign so extraordinary that it would be beyond human comprehension. This sign, fulfilled in the birth of Jesus, demonstrates His divinity, as only God could resurrect Himself from the dead.
