May 1, 2024: Nobody Ever Embraced The Modernizing Tide
James Manning
You don't need a majority to embrace any change, even a radical one. You just need a very committed and active minority to push it through and then rely on the apathy of the masses to win the day.
John A Cassani
It doesn’t hurt when all the money is on your side, either. The modernists’ problem now is that the big money in the Church is going to projects that will garner good press in the leftist media, like trafficking illegal immigrants, and building inner city schools. There’s no money for bailing out parishes that lose money anymore.
Ivan Tomas
@James Manning, and that happens the most easily when you don't have a radicals on a good side. At least not enough in the right places.
All modernist clergy, and also all the lukewarm ones, to begin with all modernist popes, are responsible for todays enormous evil in the Church and thus in the world too, if nothing else, then because they weren't radical in the good.
