Bishop Schneider at CIC conference: A hostile takover of the Church took place.

If Bishop Schneider is just now figuring this out no wonder our Church is in serious trouble. His statement suggests that he only recently picked up one of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre’s books on the hijacking of Vatican II, SMH

Worse than Germany: Funeral held in Paris Archdiocese for prominent actor who was killed by euthanasia.
French actor Arnaud Denis was killed by euthanasia in Belgium on September 22, aged 43.
He received a Catholic funeral at Saint-Roch Church in Paris on October 1.
Denis had been seriously ill for about three years. His health collapsed after a routine hernia operation in 2023, during which a surgical mesh implant was placed in his body. He suffered severe pain, lost significant weight and developed debilitating health problems that eventually left him disabled.
The implant was later removed, but his health did not recover.
He requested euthanasia in Belgium and made his plans publicly known in January.
According to TribuneChrétienne.com, Saint-Roch confirmed that Denis was a baptized Catholic and that the funeral was held at his request and that of his family.
The Church teaches that euthanasia is “morally unacceptable” and an intrinsically evil act. Canon 1184 provides that manifest …

This man will answer to God, of course, but so will the Conciliar-inspired popes, bishops and priests who initiated and continue to promote the false teachings that have grown out of the Second Vatican Council which gave rise to the Satanically-inspired beliefs taking place today. It is those religious beliefs that have allowed this foolish man to likely believe that what he is doing will not displease God. Indeed, his ignorance is confirmed for his family by the prelate and priests who approved his “Catholic” funeral.
The Pope and many bishops and priests of the Conciliar religion today may piously shake their heads in disapproval of euthanasia, but God knows that in their heart of hearts they realize that they are part of a religion that steadily moves further away from the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church—the only religion established by Jesus Christ. For the sake of their souls I pray they wake up to the truth.

Only two priests left the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) after the 1 July episcopal consecrations in Ecône. Father Franz Schmidberger, 79, a former Superior General, mentioned the number in his weekly newsletter on September 14. The Fraternity has more than 730 priests.

A heterodox creed invoking a “God/Goddess” and featuring left-wing political language was recited at the annual “Cry of the Excluded” Mass celebrated by Bishop José Valdeci Santos Mendes of Brejo, Brazil.

...yet, Pope Leo XIV allows this man to remain in the episcopacy, while overseeing the excommunication of the six, holy bishops the FSSPX.
How does this Pope sleep at nights knowing that God sees everything?

Leo XIV Appoints Bishop Who Ordered Homosexual Inclusion in Lay Ministries
Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed Bishop Crispin Barrete Varquez, 65, as the new bishop of Tagbilaran in the Philippines. He has been bishop of Borongan since 2007, for nearly two decades.
His appointment to Tagbilaran marks a return to his home diocese. He spent much of his priestly ministry there before becoming a bishop.
Varquez Replaces a Bishop-Elect Who Withdrew
Tagbilaran diocese has been without a bishop since September 2025, when Archbishop Alberto Uy was promoted to Cebu.
In March 2026, Leo XIV named Rev. Gerardo Saco as his successor. He withdrew just three weeks before his episcopal consecration in May, citing his “human limitations and inadequacies.”
Monsignor Varquez was supposed to be one of Saco's two co-consecrators.
“Inclusive Lay Ministries”
In October 2025, Bishop Varquez mandated all parishes in his diocese to include persons with disabilities and people of “different sexual orientations” in …

Gloria TV continues to bring these shocking matters to our attention and I genuinely appreciate being informed. However, as @Father Karl A Claver has noted, I'm no longer shocked. Many years ago I would have been, but I now recognize that it is not Catholicism. It is an entirely different religion.
Yes, the Pope and the bishops are still members of the Catholic Church but most of them have nearly entirely abandoned authentic teachings and promote Conciliarism, the diabolically-inspired religion of Vatican II that continues to lead many away from God.
Although Rome has rejected the SSPX which continues to profess only the authentic teachings of Catholicism, faithful Catholics will to be fooled. Yet, many Catholics who have been indoctrinated into following their false religion will continue to drift further away from the truth.
Sadly, too, many of these souls are family members who blindly refuse to read the publications that explain what has happened to the Church or even listen to explanations from their faithful Catholic relatives. Nevertheless, all we can do is pray for them.

Yet, he conveniently overlooks the Conciliar religion's "manifest authentic-Catholicism irregularities." If questioned, of course, Kwasniewski would disagree with a significant amount of the current Conciliar practices being winked at or promoted by the Conciliar popes, bishops and priests.
I suspect that he wants to try to keep one foot in each camp so he can project himself as being a "Catholic" for all readers.

For the record, the excommunication are on appeal. Under canon Law they are suspended until a final determination is made. The FSSPX has a very strong case on multiple grounds that would place them is a very favorable position of prevailing before a fair tribunal.
Whether they will have that fair tribunal remains to be seen, but until there is a final determination by the Pope, even in the eyes of the Conciliarists they are every bit as valid as the judgmental bishop who banned them from Lourdes. The bishop should withdraw his ruling and apologize.

Cardinal Burke to Michael Knowles on traditional Roman Mass: “The most important thing for those who love the traditional Latin Mass is to make known to their bishops - and to the Holy Father most of all - their desire to worship according to this form and that they’re not calling into question the validity of the Second Vatican Council”

Well said, @solipso. By branding himself a "conservative," he attracts confused Catholics and ultimately serves the Conciliarists. While he is correct that the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) will never be suppressed, it is not for the secular reasons he claims, such as its popularity among young people. Instead, the TLM and the SSPX will endure because of Christ's own promise: the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church.

Leo XIV' New Consultors for Dicastery for Religious Life Are Liberal, Synodal "Reformers"
On August 6, Pope Leo XIV appointed 15 new consultors to the Dicastery for Religious, headed by Prefect Sr Simona Brambilla. The new consultors comprise two bishops (Alfonso Vincenzo Amarante and Kevin Otieno Mwandha), five priests, including one abbot (Ignasi Fossas, Damián Astigueta, Maurizio Bevilacqua, Benjamin Earl and Flavien Mambueni), two religious brothers (Antoine Kazindu and Emili Turú), and six religious sisters (Chiara Lorenzato, Maria Nirmalini, María Rosaura González Casas, Mary Lembo, Patricia Murray and Maria do Disterro Rocha Santos).
Leo XIV has again appointed liberal, synodal figures, illustrated by these four personnel choices.
Less Uniformity in Liturgy, More Creativity
Indian Sister Maria Nirmalini, A.C. was a member of the Synod on Synodality (2023) and hoped for “liturgical reform, particularly of the Mass with less emphasis on uniformity and more on creativity.”

Sadly, most Catholics are now "Conciliar Catholics." And since Conciliarism is an ever-evolving religion its tenets are constantly being updated.
But make no mistake, Conciliarism is Satanically driven and Satan's ultimate goal is to destroy the Catholic Church. Faithful Catholics know that will never happen, but the authentic Catholic Church will suffer greatly as Rome moves further away from the truth through Synodality.
And while the role of the SSPX is still unclear to many, all should recognize that it is the only priestly organization celebrating the TLM that adheres exclusively to the authentic teachings that pre-dated Vatican II.
The most revealing clue as to its legitimacy, however, is that the SSPX is the only priestly organization that the Conciliarists in Rome regularly attack and work to destroy.
There are relatively few Catholics who assist at the SSPX Masses, but as Jesus told us, when He returns He expects to find very few who have not loss their faith.

Spanish Archdiocese Distances Itself After Priest Calls for Conversion of Morocco
The Archdiocese of Pamplona and Tudela, Spain, has distanced itself on August 5 from comments by one of its priests after he called for the "reconquest of Morocco and its conversion to Christianity" following the invasion into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta.
In a statement, the archdiocese said Rev. Javier Aizpún's remarks were "strictly personal opinions" that "neither represent nor are shared in any way by this diocesan Church."
The controversy stemmed from a post on X.com in which Aizpún, parish priest of San Juan Evangelista in Huarte and a canon of Pamplona Cathedral, wrote: "May Our Lady of Africa, patron saint of Ceuta, inspire the reconquest of Morocco and its conversion to Christianity. May we finish what Queen Isabella the Catholic left undone."
In subsequent posts, he also called for Spain to "bombard Rabat" and "open fire if necessary" in response to the mass crossing of invaders into Ceuta.

This priest should really have known how offensive his remarks were. Apparently he was under the impression that he was a priest in the Catholic Church where Jesus Christ ordered His followers to “go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost. No. He’s a Conciliarist!
What is absolutely amazing, though, is that Conciliarists who call themselves Catholic, are so indoctrinated they believe the SSPX is schismatic.
